SUBMIT to REM™ 2024 Fellowship Program Application

Thanks to the generous support of NextEra, REM™ is pleased to announce this year’s Fellowship Program. These fellowships will provide free access to the entire conference for up to ten (10) aspiring renewable energy professionals. Fellows will be selected for the diversity of their backgrounds and their commitment to the renewable energy sector as demonstrated by their school and/or volunteer commitments. These fellowships offer a tremendous opportunity to enhance your understanding of the industry and meet industry leaders.

NextEra Fellows receive:

  • free registration to the REM™ conference (September 16-18, 2024 at the Westin Denver Downtown in Denver, CO). Access includes all sessions, the Opening Night Reception, the Green Power Leadership Awards lunch, and the Green Power Party. NOTE: Fellows will be responsible for their own transportation and lodging costs.

  • and the chance to collaborate with and learn from a peer group of fellows

 

NextEra’s Fellowship Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at a college, university, or technical program* 
  • Fellowship applicants may be interested in any sector of renewable energy, including academic, manufacturing, technical, consulting, engineering, finance, and others
  • Applicants must be planning to pursue a renewable energy career in the United States.

 

*Only applicants from US-based schools/programs are eligible.

 

Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Demonstrated interest in renewable energy
  • Academic and/or vocational achievement 
  • Work and volunteer experience

Please complete the below form and upload your resume, current transcript or academic record, and a brief essay on why you should receive a scholarship by 12 a.m. PT, Wednesday, August 14th. Professional recommendations will also be accepted but not required.
