Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) invites dynamic speakers and panelists with powerful insights to contribute to the REM™ Asia 2026 conference. We are seeking individuals who can share new research, highlight critical challenges, and most importantly, provide innovative and informed perspectives on the future of renewable energy markets across the region.

To apply, please submit a short summary of your background, select a session topic from the list below, and outline the key points you would address if selected as a speaker. If you are interested in multiple topics, you are welcome to submit more than one application.

The GHG Protocol and its Influence on Asian Renewable Markets: This panel will unpack the proposed updates to the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard Scope 2 Guidance and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Accounting Standard, along with key feedback received during the fall comment period. Panelist will explore the challenges these updates present and their potential impacts on corporate reporting, decision-making, and value chain engagement across the APAC region.

Unlocking Corporate Clean Energy Success: As corporations expand their clean energy commitments, navigating the complex landscape of policies, standards, and finances has never been more critical.  Experts will share practical insights to help companies align with sustainability standards and ESG initiatives, advance credible clean energy procurement strategies, finance sustainability measures, engage with government agencies, state-run utilities, feed-in tariffs and renewable portfolio standards, all while avoiding the pitfalls of greenwashing. 

Decarbonizing the Digital Future: With the rising demand for AI services, power grids and data centers are under increasing pressure to support this global shift. This panel brings together leading experts to discuss the challenges of accommodating energy needs while advancing behind the meter solutions, strategies to decarbonize data centers and ensuring a more sustainable digital future.

Clean Fuels Growth: Opportunities for Renewable Fuels in Asia: As clean fuel markets expand, new opportunities are emerging to scale renewable fuels through innovative policy, investment, and voluntary initiatives. This panel will highlight opportunities and challenges for cross-border alignment, key mechanisms in market-based accounting, investment and compliance to best navigate markets.

Key Considerations in PPA Negotiations: Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) play a critical role in helping businesses achieve their decarbonization goals. This panel will give you contractual insights by exploring the challenges and opportunities in negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) from a buyer, seller, and legal perspective from a variety of different policy and country contexts.

On Track: Key Updates and Initiatives from Renewable Energy Tracking Systems and Trading Platforms: This will be an interactive session allowing attendees to speak with representatives from international tracking systems and trading platforms in a small group setting formatted as roundtable discussions. Table leads will describe recent updates and initiatives for their respective platforms.

Leading the Way: 24/7 Corporate Clean Energy: Come hear from companies leading the way in 24/7 and granular clean energy commitments. Panelists will share how they are reshaping the future of procurement through innovative strategies to meet around-the-clock sustainability goals and creating new opportunities for utilities, regulators, and system operators in the region.

Unlocking Utility Green Tariffs: This panel will explore how UGT programs are structured across the region, strategies to scale UGTs to meet both corporate sustainability goals and regional clean energy targets, and the challenges of integrating these tariffs into existing regulatory frameworks. 

Market Growth Opportunities for Emerging Clean Technologies: Come learn about new clean energy technologies including: Hydrogen, battery storage, offshore wind, and carbon capture and storage.  Panelists will discuss opportunities and challenges of unlocking investment, accelerating adoption, enhancing credibility, while examining how these innovations are recognized and accounted for in voluntary markets.

Market Spotlight: South Korea: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of South Korea including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: The Philippines: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of The Philippines including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: Vietnam: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of Vietnam including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: Indonesia: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of Indonesia including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: Taiwan: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of Taiwan including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: Singapore: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of Singapore including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: United States: This session will focus on the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of United States and its impact on developers, buyers and sellers in Asia.

Market Spotlight: China: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of China including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: Thailand: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of Thailand including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

Market Spotlight: Malaysia: This session will highlight the renewable energy market structure and policy landscape of Malaysia including recent policies impacting the availability of procurement methods, buyers and sellers as well as market obstacles and opportunities.

What to submit:  Submit all materials related to the certified product used between September 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025. The form will direct you to which documents to submit; Product Content Labels, Price, Terms and Conditions, and any marketing materials associated with the product. Please complete a separate submission for each certified product.

After you submit:  Green-e® staff will review your submissions to verify adherence to the Green-e® Energy Code of Conduct. Feedback on materials intended for continued use will be based on Version 2.4 of the Code of Conduct, which came into effect February, 2024. If applicable, you will be asked to complete any required changes within 30 calendar days from the date you receive feedback from Green-e® staff. Failure to complete the requested changes will result in non-compliance with program requirements, and continued non-compliance will trigger Section V Enforcement and Censure of the Code of Conduct. Feedback on materials intended for continued use will be based on Version 2.4 of the Green-e® Energy Code of Conduct, which came into effect on February 15, 2025. If applicable, you will be asked to complete any required changes within 30 calendar days from the date you receive feedback from Green-e® staff. Failure to complete the requested changes will result in non-compliance with program requirements, and continued non-compliance will trigger Section V Enforcement and Censure of the Code of Conduct.
